IN LAK'ETCH - PROCESS BOOK

MediumTents

Client : Thesis

Background: In Lak’etch was born from a desire to empower the future generation of Latinos by celebrating the beauty of their culture through design. Our brand of hats, crafted in Mexico, embodies this vision, offering versatile headwear for all occasions, from jaripeos to everyday wear. Handmade and intricately embroidered by skilled artisans, each hat challenges stereotypes by showcasing the true craftsmanship and artistry behind Mexican headwear. Our logo, set in 'Azulera,' a font of my own design, further emphasizes our commitment to authenticity and creativity.

Transforming from a simple hat brand into a cultural installation, In Lak’etch transports you to the vibrant markets of Mexico. Hand-drawn posters showcase the diversity of Mexican headwear, while colorful cellophane wraps handmade wooden frames, creating an immersive experience that celebrates the rich heritage and craftsmanship of Mexican culture.  Go ahead, flip through the pages!
